Wake up to the beauty of Morecambe Bay

Birdwatching in Morecambe Bay

The sandflats and saltmarshes of Morecambe Bay are vital feeding grounds for a quarter of a million wading birds, ducks and geese. It's the second most important estuary in the UK and is protected by European and UK law.

The RSPB are involved in the conservation and management of the whole bay and own a significant area of saltmarsh and mudflats between Hest Bank and Silverdale as a nature reserve.

Much can be seen within walking distance of the guest house or even from a comfy chair, through the window of the lounge or one of the premium sea view rooms!
